After completing ten years of history, Skyone (formerly Sky.One) has just announced its repositioning in the market . The company is now adopting a new strategy, integrating its cloud computing, data, and cybersecurity platforms. The goal is to eliminate growth barriers for clients by providing simplified access to the technologies essential to their operations.

In an interview with IT Forum , Ricardo Brandão, CEO and co-founder of Skyone , explained that the company was previously very focused on cloud computing, and over time, the data and cybersecurity verticals were created. However, based on research conducted with prospects and clients, they understood that a single platform was needed encompassing the three modules that had previously been handled individually.

“Internally, we now have a new product. We've combined the three modules into a single platform. We changed our internal pitch, since we used to have dedicated teams for each product, and now everyone makes a single sale,” he explains.

Those who are already clients, the executive confirms, will migrate to a single platform with access to their existing subscriptions. However, they will then be exposed to other modules with just a few clicks. They are not obligated to use everything, but they will have this overall view. Previously, subscribing to modules required different logins, contracts, etc.

The decision to change was made a year ago, and according to Brandão, R$ 5 million was invested in integrating the platform. Skyone's expectations are quite positive – as customers were requesting this change, the executive believes there will be pent-up demand from those already in the customer base.

“We have had an average growth of 53% in the last three years. Looking ahead, this product is essential to reach new markets. We are present in 14 countries and penetration outside of Brazil will be even greater, mainly due to the reduction in contract complexity,” celebrates Brandão. According to him, the expectation for the next three years is to continue growing by around 50%.

Growth will be driven by increased market penetration among SMEs, as well as a greater focus on medium/large companies. According to the CEO, the goal is not to target enterprises, but companies that have an average level of technological maturity but a large revenue stream.

“These companies have higher ticket prices, but they are not yet ready to use the tools of large corporations. In other words, they are in limbo and this could be a market opportunity for the new platform,” concludes the executive.
