POPULIS migrated from its existing technology environment to Oracle infrastructure, in partnership with Skyone, a change that resulted in a 38% reduction in costs. In addition to the savings, the migration brought greater financial predictability to the company. Previously, part of the operating costs were linked to the dollar. With the new environment, POPULIS began to perform its calculations in reais (Brazilian currency), which "increased visibility over expenses and provided more security for projections and decisions.".
The change also allowed the company to optimize its internal structure. Part of the infrastructure that was previously maintained by the company itself began to be served by Skyone's services, reducing the need for resources dedicated to operations and allowing the team to focus efforts on more strategic activities.
