With an accelerated expansion plan, Sky.One has been growing by leaps and bounds.

In recent years alone, the startup has received over R$65 million in investments, including R$22.5 million from Invest Tech in 2018 and a second round of investment from InovaBRA, worth R$45 million, in 2020. To boost its development, Sky.One has just announced the arrival of Rodrigo Tremante as its new Partner and CFO.

With 22 years of experience in the banking sector, including 14 as CFO of banks, and having experienced several IPO processes, Tremante is moving to a technology company and comments:

Sky.One is a fantastic company, present in more than 10 countries, with significant growth in recent years and has been gaining new clients every day. We will consolidate Sky.One as one of the largest Techfin companies in Brazil and why not in Latin America. We will combine the best of both worlds: “We will continue to be very strong in revenue growth, but with a focus on efficiency, cash generation and profitability. Our balance sheet will reflect many optimizations in this 2022 fiscal year.”.

Experience to add value

With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting, Tremante holds an Executive MBA in Finance from Ibmec and has completed extension courses at Fundação Dom Cabral, IBGC, and INSEAD in France. He has extensive experience on Boards of Directors and with IPOs. In 2015, Tremante participated in the initial public offering (IPO) of one of the largest hypermarket chains in the country, Carrefour. Three years later, he was hired by Banco BV, one of the leading financial institutions in Brazil, and prepared the company for its IPO.

An optimistic path

According to Tremante, because it is a company that has been in existence for almost 10 years and has a consistent track record, Sky.One is developing an optimistic vision for the short, medium, and long term, even with the current market downturn.

It's clear that we're going through a delicate moment, with stock markets and central banks raising interest rates due to inflation. Conversely, at Sky.One, the estimates are excellent. There's a very large added value in cross-selling operations, for example, in cybersecurity and also Techfin, he explains.
