Populis is a company specializing in HR management software and also offers self-service solutions for the sector. To guarantee the efficiency and reliability of its systems, the company has always invested in a robust technological infrastructure, essential for maintaining the quality of its service delivery.

Performance and economy at the heart of the strategy with Skyone

Until recently, this infrastructure was hosted on AWS. But, in pursuit of scalability, security, and financial control, Populis decided to migrate its entire environment to Oracle, in partnership with Skyone .

We were on AWS and we just migrated everything to the Oracle/Skyone environment. This resulted in gains in two completely different areas: scalability, security, and infrastructure costs ,” explains Ubirajara Camargo (Director at Pópulis RH).

Watch the case study and discover how the company achieved a 38% cost reduction by changing its work environment.

When changing environments means gaining financial predictability

One of the main benefits perceived by Populis was the gain in visibility and financial predictability. The operation, previously "dollarized," began to be accounted for in reais, which brought more control and security to projections and decision-making. "Today, we calculate everything in reais, no longer in dollars. We have greater visibility, greater security regarding the financial aspect ," adds Ubirajara.

Furthermore, the migration represented a significant optimization of the internal structure. Part of the infrastructure area, previously maintained within the company itself, was transferred to Skyone's services, resulting in a substantial reduction in costs.

More efficient infrastructure, more strategic IT

" Combining Oracle's infrastructure and Skyone's services, we had a financial gain of approximately 38% ," the manager points out.

But the benefits don't stop at the financial field. Since starting operations with Skyone, Populis has also noticed important technical advancements, such as stability, quality of service, and agile support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. "The entire Skyone service, from day one until today, has been of very high quality. That's a certainty, right? We are served 24/7, at any time, and with great quality ," he emphasizes.
