More than just a fun activity to lighten the mood, the action carries strong symbolism about the current technological moment. As Júlia explained during the chat, the dynamic represents the transition from old legacy ERPs and local data centers to the future. “The analogy we're using here is: let's move all of this to the cloud! When a company reaches the cloud, it arrives in the future and is enabled to do everything it wants in terms of data, Artificial Intelligence, and cybersecurity,”she emphasized.

The challenges of governance and the safe use of artificial intelligence

In addition to the championship, the interview touched on pressing issues for the corporate market. Júlia warned about the risks of a lack of data governance, especially with the popularization of public Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini.

She explained that many employees are, on their own initiative, entering sensitive company data into insecure platforms, which can lead to leaks and violate the guidelines of the LGPD (General Data Protection Law). "Artificial intelligence is coming on strong to help productivity, but we need to be very careful not to expose our lives and company data to it," she emphasized.

Skyone's solution for the market

A recent survey conducted by Skyone in partnership with MIT in Brazil revealed that 60% of companies still lack the necessary foundation (a scalable and secure cloud) to evolve towards the secure use of AI.

To address this gap, the marketing manager emphasized the unique advantages of our platform. In addition to supporting secure cloud migration, Skyone developed its own Artificial Intelligence solution, allowing companies to create their applications and databases in a completely secure environment, not exposed to the market.

The conversation also touched on the global infrastructure landscape, addressing the growth and high energy consumption of data centers around the world.
